After last week’s pissy Bourne debate, our friends at Pictures & Frames Magazine Lily and JM finally agree on something–Rocket Science rocks! This “little movie that could” is a welcome break from the summer blockbusters, a perfect blend of bittersweet nostalgia and high school trauma in the vein of “The Wonder Years” and “Freaks and Geeks,” with a little Wes Anderson-esque narration thrown in for good measure. Plus, the pair delve into their latest Netflix rentals–The Holiday, Zodiac and The Fountain. |
