The Myth of the American Sleepover

A random visual sampling of production. Assembling these photos gave me a warm feeling - I wouldn't go so far as to say nostalgia - probably something closer to a fond reminiscence. I remember the places and how we felt at the moments these photos were taken. Mostly I was tired and stressed out. But seeing these pictures now (three months after we wrapped) I can't help but feel like this summer was something special. Almost magical.

Here a few extras hanging out before the shot. Light was such a critical issue for us during filming since the story takes places over one day. We were always waiting for dusk or racing against dawn.
